Zalakaros
About 2.5 km is the world famous spa complex. The medicinal waters have become a wellness centre besides offering curative methods. It is mainly divided into two sections, the medical centre and the fun pool, linked to open-air pools and covered thermal baths. Kestheley
Known as the Capital of Balaton, it has beaches,promenades, several museums including the marzipan museum, a baroque style castle, a shopping precinct and much more.

Lake Balaton
The largest freshwater lake in Central Europe. Warm water soothes the body and spirit. A mere 3-4 metres deep, it warms quickly to a 20-22 degress and sometimes higher. On the north shore it is deeper and a centre for water sports. The south shore is favoured by families with children.

Kapolnapuszta
A buffalo Reserve in a nature conservation area

Fishing
Various lakes with carp, perch,tench and bass, including one in the village and one at the Kis-Balaton. Tickets and permits can be arranged.
